Charles James II is an American football cornerback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. He played college football for Charleston Southern. He was a featured player of the 2015 edition of HBO’s series, Hard Knocks.
Attended Charleston Southern…Named All-American following his senior season in which he set the CSU career interception record with 12…Helped the Bucs rally from an 0-3 start to a 5-6 finish and four-straight home wins to close out his career…Key member on the Bucs’ secondary, which finished the season as the nation’s No. 3 pass defense, allowing just 145.5 passing yards per game…Compiled 32 tackles and 14 pass break-ups in his final season at CSU…Earned First Team All-Big South honors and was named Third Team All-American by Phil Steele…Named to the Stars’ roster in the 2013 Raycom College Football All-Star Classic.
